Description

Tim Davis is making exceptional banjos and has lined up a few artist models.  This banjo is a copy of a banjo owned and played by Butch Robins.  This is a copy of a 1930 Pre War Gibson RB4 Banjo owned by Butch.

This has a walnut neck and resonator with grain that almost looks like mahogany.  This is because the Butch Robins original banjo had walnut with that grain.  The hardware is all chrome which really looks and sounds good.  This chrome is glowing.  The fretboard is rosewood with a Hearts and Flowers inlay pattern.  The finish on the back of the neck has been sanded off so the neck is now a “speed neck”.  This is how the original was and also allows for faster fretting.  This is a perfect replica down to the inlay imperfections.  This banjo is incredible.

This is brand new, all original, set up and includes a New Superior Case.

Set Up

This has been set up by Tim Davis.  This has a new Remo frosted head and a New Huber Bridge.  The strings are also new and he has this set up to play with some great speed and volume.  This banjo is a true cannon with some spooky good tone!!!  These are incredibly hot right now, everybody wants one and this is in stock and ready to ship.
