Description

This is a copy of JD Crowe’s RB3 which he played for years and is legendary.  This is absolutely a professional quality banjo that has been cleaned and set up at the Banjo Warehouse.

The neck and resonator are mahogany and this has a rosewood fretboard with a leaves and bows inlay pattern.  The hardware is nickel and all original including a one piece flange and a no hole tone ring.  The banjo is all original except for new tuners that we put on.  This also includes a Superior Hardshell Case.

Condition

This banjo is in fantastic shape and has been cleaned at our shop.  The metal is sparkling.  The finish on the wood is clean and has been waxed to give it a nice shine.  The frets have very little wear and the fretboard is clean with spikes at frets 7 and 9.  This is in great shape and the Superior Case is clean as well.

Set Up

This is set up with a Remo frosted head which is set to 90.  The bridge is a Sosebee and the strings are Huber and this also is a super player.  This banjo has a lot of pop and is set up to be a thrill to play.  This is a really good example of a serious powerhouse Gold Star JD Crowe Banjo and is set up and ready to go!!
